8base Appoints Tim Myers as Chief Technology Officer

Myers will direct the company’s technology and professional services teams; and will be responsible for scaling a diverse team to drive the company’s next phase of growth.

8base, the rapidly growing low-code development platform for building digital products, has hired Timothy Myers as its Chief Technology Officer. Myers brings deep technical leadership experience to the team, with a background in software development, management of offshore operations, professional services and domain experience across a number of industries.

Myers is a business advisory and technology professional with more than 30 years of experience in catalyzing some of the smallest to largest corporations in the world. He has led numerous organizations in designing technology and business operating models, utilizing big data, artificial intelligence, blockchain and other technologies to ensure successful outcomes.

Myers has helped companies achieve their transformative goals in roles that include Chief Delivery, Technology, Information and Executive Officer positions, Senior Partner for Financial Services and Insurance, and various other consultancy and top-of-house roles.

With a focus on operational efficiencies and technology improvements, Myers has been successful in aligning and improving the technology design, delivery, support, and operations for several businesses around the globe, including JPMorgan Chase and Optum Health as well as startups like ClickFox (BryterCX) and Pointillist. 

Myers spent the last 10 years supporting, implementing, and advising global enterprises in their quest to improve the outcomes of customer lifecycles to the benefit of both the customer and the enterprise. Notable highlights include Customer Experience Center of Excellence (CX COE) builds, enterprise customer transformation playbooks, data governance and lineage work, market, and tool evaluation, among others.
